Saving 257 million cubic meters of water consumption in Hamedan province

Managing director of Hamedan Regional Water Company announced the blockade of 3,524 unauthorized wells in Hamedan and said:The blockage of this number of unauthorized wells saved more than 257 million cubic meters of water consumption in the province.

According to the Public Relations Department of Hamedan Regional Water Company, engineer Mansour Sotoudeh said: Since the beginning of the year 93, 3524 unauthorized wells have been blocked in Hamedan province, saving 257 million cubic meters of groundwater consumption. He announced the depth of the blockage of unauthorized wells by more than 122 kilometers and said that the most unauthorized wells were blocked in Kaboodrahang with 1109 rings, 640 rings with 640 rings and Hamedan with 444 rings. He continued by saying that since the beginning of this year the process of blocking illegal holes continues, he added: "Fortunately there is good cooperation between the judiciary and the law enforcement force to block the unauthorized wells in Hamadan, which led to this operation. Sotoudeh said: Since the beginning of this year, 41 unauthorized wells have been blocked in the province, saving 654,000 cubic meters of underground resources. Sotoudeh added that a total of 4258 smart meters of water and water were installed on authorized wells, most of them in the plain (Razan-Ghahavand). "Our commitment to installing the meter in 1998 was 560, with 47 units installed, which represents an 8% improvement over the installation commitment," he continued. Managing director of Hamedan Regional Water Management Company said: "Also, with the authorized wells of the province which are taking more than the license, they are also coping with the steps taken to protect the water resources of the province of Hamedan. Referring to the inspections of the 24-hour inspections of the province's plains, he noted: 24 groups of patrols and inspections in order to supervise authorized wells, prevent the digging of unlawful wells and the harvesting of sand from the rivers of the province around the clock on the plains Control.
